Join the celebration by sharing your CBS story and supporting the next 50 years of ministry.
Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.
Classes begin Friday, August 28, 2026.
We will be studying Christian Living, Colossians, and Christian Leadership this year. Please join as we study Philemon, 1 2 3 John, Jude, Colossians, 1 & 2 Timothy, and Titus.
We are an interdenominational Bible study. We offer an in-person class, zoom class, and provide a prison ministry. Our host church is Movement Church,20444 Midway Boulevard, Port Charlotte, FL 33952

This Year: After concluding our powerful study of Psalms which focused, in part, on our relationship with God, next year we will shift our focus to the relationship that God wants us to have with each other. We will start the 2026-2027 class year with Christian Living. The course will begin with the book Philemon. This letter by Paul is a practical demonstration of the gospel transforming social relationships teaching forgiveness, reconciliation and Christian brotherhood. The dynamic relationship between truth and love is a common theme in Philemon; 1, 2, and 3 John; and Jude. Truth without love is harsh, and lovewithout truth lacks sincerity. But when combined, truth and love are powerful forces. They change people’s lives and bring the kingdom of God into a world that needs Him. Jesus embodies perfect truth and love, and He is our example of how to live them out in a practical, everyday way.
