Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

ABOUT THE CLASS

This is a Co-Ed Class

FRI at 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Classes begin Friday, August 29, 2025. We will be studying the Book of Psalms this year. Please join us as we study Psalms, a collection of 150 ancient Hebrew poems, songs and prayers that come from different eras in Israel's history.

We are an interdenominational Bible study. We offer in-person classes, zoom classes, and snowbird classes. Our host church is Movement Church, 20444 Midway Boulevard, Port Charlotte, FL 33952

We will meet weekly during the school year. Each class member receives course books with a commentary and home study questions. Each week you'll participate in small group discussions and attend a large group teaching. We offer a caring, supportive community in which to study the Word of God and grow spiritually.

Our class has core groups for women, men, and children. Note: children must be pre-registered to attend.

Currently Studying: Psalms

In Psalms, God will fulfill His promises from the Torah and send the Messiah. The book of Psalms is all about the lament, praise, faith and hope of God's people that still provides us today a devotional guide and prayer book.

SNEAK PEEK - next year: After concluding our powerful study of Psalms which focused, in part, on our relationship with God, next year we will shift our focus to the relationship that God wants us to have with each other. We will start the 2026-2027 class year with Christian Living. The course will begin with the book Philemon. This letter by Paul is a practical demonstration of the gospel transforming social relationships teaching forgiveness, reconciliation and Christian brotherhood.

Our Peace River class has a full children's program. We welcome all pre-registered children. For more information contact us to enroll your children today.

Teaching children the word of God is a vital part of nurturing their spiritual growth and helping them build a strong foundation of faith. By introducing biblical stories, encouraging prayer, and discussing the teachings of Jesus in ways that are accessible and engaging for young minds, we can guide children to understand God's love and the importance of living according to His principles. Activities such as interactive storytelling, memorizing verses, and creating opportunities for children to ask questions foster a deeper connection to the Scriptures and make learning about God both meaningful and memorable.
